PEACE AND FREEDOM DAY IN THE TRNC 20TH JULY 2010.
36 years ago to this day, marks the Turkish forces intervention. This historic day has been named 'PEACE AND FREEDON DAY' in the TRNC. It is a day to remember for those caught up in the troubles leading up to 1974 and to celebrate the freedom of the Turkish Cypriots'. The day comprises of speeches by the historic harbour by past and present Presidents and leaders and is culminated by a simply fantastic air display over the harbour by the Turkish Star air team.
